The Board and I hope you had a nice Memorial Day weekend during this unusual time and thank you for your continuing cooperation in our efforts to keep Library Tower safe for  its residents and staff.

You have likely heard that Governor Pritzker will be moving Illinois to Phase 3 of the reopening process on May 29th.   This date does not apply to the City of Chicago.  Mayor Lightfoot will be moving the City to Phase 3 on a different schedule than the state.  Right now, the Mayor has not given a date or directions for the reopening of Chicago.  Based on the Governor’s guidelines, we do know several changes and continuations of the previous orders that will take place once Chicago enters the various areas of Phase 3.  

We encourage you to continue to take preventative measures to help prevent the spread of this virus and other germs.  Please follow CDC guidelines for washing your hands. Additionally, please use the common element hallways and stairwells for ingress and egress only.  

The Association has safeguards put into place to minimize the risk of COVID-19 spreading should any Library Tower resident have been exposed to or test positive for the disease.  To implement these safeguards and help protect all residents of Library Tower, we ask that if you have been diagnosed with or exposed to COVID-19, please contact me. Your name and information will not be disclosed to other residents.
